Summary
The 2003 A4 is a 4-door, up to 5-passenger luxury convertible, luxury sports sedan, sports sedan, wagon, or luxury wagon, available in 13 trims, ranging from the 1.8 T to the 3.0 Cabriolet. The 2003 A4's closest competitors include the Acura 3.2 TL, the Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class, and the Volvo S60. Upon introduction, the 1.8 T is equipped with a standard 1.8-liter, I4, 170-horsepower, turbo engine that achieves 22-mpg in the city and 31-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard. The 3.0 Cabriolet is equipped with a standard 3.0-liter, V6, 220-horsepower engine that achieves 20-mpg in the city and 27-mpg on the highway.
