91 escort check engine light

Home  \  Domestic Cars  \  91 escort check engine light

I recently had a problem with my 91 ford escort. 1.9L automatic. the check engine light would come on after 15 to 20 minutes of driving. I borrowed a code reader which told me code 33 or egr valve position sensor indicates egr valve not opening. I replaced the egr valve. Afterwards, the check engine light came on immediatly and now stays on. I rechecked the codes and they are code 21 engine coolant temperature out of range, and code 24 air charge temperature sensor voltage is out of specifications. These were run with the key on engine off test. Does anybody have any suggestions before I replace more parts that may not need to be replaced.
thanks Scooter.
