Dodge Vs Ford

Which one is better dodge or ford according to its motor, body, top speed ….etc:2cents:

posted by  caaaaaaaars

There is no definite answer to this because people have things called opinions and whichever motor or body type they are going to argue based on which one they prefer or think is better. as for top speed do you mean cars being manufactured today? or racing cars or what? I think the best cars they are making today are the viper for dodge and the ford gt, but I'm not sure

posted by  salimander13

Well a dodge viper is better then a Ford Pinto

Trucks, in MOST cases, Dodge...but anything else, I like them pretty much the same...hard (impossible?) to tell which is better :2cents:

I have an idea.....lock the thread

yeah, but a Pinto is better at carrying 5 people and saving gas

posted by  moostang104314

What would you give me if I could fit 5 people into a Viper?...They won't be comfortable, but they'll fit

And I always thought the Pinto was also a 2 seater? lol

posted by  chris_knows

that is one broad question there.

posted by  nighthawk

The Pinto was available as a 2+2 coupe, 2+2 hatchback, and 2 door station wagon. Yes, they all had rear seats:

Oh, I didn't notice that...I checked on google for every Pinto I could find

posted by  chris_knows

it doesnt matter because the ford gt is still better than the viper:laughing:

I'm not a fan of either, but under this circumstance, I'd go with Ford. :2cents:

actually i'm pretty sure you should consider chevy. pound for pound, they make heavier cars... :screwy:

See I like Ford but when threads are started like this I believ that the thread starter is looking for a little e-argument which should be takin elsewhere. Everybody has there own opinion so why argue about it right??? It's not gonna get anywhere your not gonna change the other persons views

Ford kicks ass, the totally own Dodge, psshh, Dodge...It's just sheet metal stapled together, waiting to rust...probably made out of fake metals :fu::fu:

 ...That's just to piss you off, and get the war started (I don't necessarilly prefer Ford lol)

Ohh, not that guy :banghead: can't stand him, speaking of which, he owes me some cookies

i prefer fords over dodges, fords for my daily driver, chevy for my demo cars, and dodge for the junk yard! ive just had bad experiences w/ dodges:banghead: but i am picking up a dodge colt for a compact car....:screwy: ford 2.3 going in it though...

posted by  adamc44

Really I can't choose, I'm not a big fan of newer cars. If it was older cars, then I'd definately say Dodge (over any other make). I know the guys at the garage I'm doing my Co-op at, they all hate Ford (hate working on them), and 2 of them are Dodge fans and the other is a Chevy fan.

This thread was obviously started as a front for his signature link which already got deleted. And you bitches fell for it, hahahaha!

posted by  Mathew

i sarcasticly went with it. to bad noone picked up on that and commented. :ohcrap:

posted by  pik_d

I dont know how you can say that considering the little info you have to have. For somebody new at a Forum, this question might seem quite sensible. And do you even know what was in the signature?.....because I'm sure it paid no resemblence to this thread!

posted by  Cliffy

You think too much about it. This is just some young dumb kid, look at how he posted the question about which is better? Which Body is better which motor is better, this kid is prolly 11.

posted by  Pythias

Maybe because they are dodge and chevy fans they dislike ford? :screwy:

GO FORD!!!

posted by  Pythias

Maybe you wana give some models? Or should I compare my neon to an f150.

posted by  newyorker

f150 is better than the neon but that goes for about ever car.
I think ford to dodge there would be focus vs neon and focus is clearly the better car.
Ford is by far the superior company the tranny problems that plagues anything chrysler has to do with hold dodge back

posted by  Aondor

To be fair, most of the late model automatic trans problems the Chryslers had was due to people using the wrong fluid in them. This has been well documented now. Older automatics, like the Torqueflite 727 that was behind the 440s and hemis is a very strong trans. And their manual trans haven't been any worse than any other.

I'm not a "team fan" in that I prefer one over all others and feel the need to denigrate and insult the ones that aren't my favoite. there's good and bad examples of all of them. Old or new. And I have favorites from all of them, as well as having had god luck with all of them.

You have to be the fag to start something...
What about the 2.3 liter Pinto or the Ford Festiva?

posted by  99integra

2.3 liter turbo Pinto running 10s in the quarter for under $5k total = Fun.

Festiva with B6T swap from a late model XR2 Capri makes for a dirt cheap, fun alternative to spending $20k on a MINI Cooper... ;)

posted by  ChrisV

Lol...I need to be more specific so that you can't contradict me
I was talking about a stock Pinto and a stock Festiva competing with a stock neon :wink2:

posted by  99integra

Hmm, a basic car designed in teh late '60s, vs a basic car designed in the early '80s vs a basic car designed in the early '90s. Gonna say you're not comparing apples and apples.

posted by  ChrisV

You can't argue with ChrisV, he is ALL-KNOWING.

posted by  Pythias

Dammit you did it again
Ok how bout a Neon vs a Cavalier or better yet an Escort?

posted by  99integra

Depending on the model, pretty much on par. In the '90s, the Escort was based on a Mazda chassis and not a bad car, but basic. The Cavi Z/24 could be pretty fast, and the Neons were available in ACR form. Any of them could be boring basic economy cars, and any could be competent race cars. So once again, no clear winner.

Shows what you know, DODGE RULES!!! :joking:...just trying to start a flame war

posted by  chris_knows

OR, that could be why they are Chevy/Dodge fans, is because they are used to working on Ford garbage... (as they say).

posted by  car_crazy89

Regardless from what you have stated they express more ignorance than 6000le so there is no point in talking about them.

posted by  Pythias

Mustang or Charger
Viper or GT40
Taurus or Stratus

Ahh, its impossible. I call a tie. Theyre both great.

posted by  PontiacFan27

YOU'RE SO WRONG, CHRIS!!!!

DODGE HAS MORE LETTERS IN IT'S NAME, SO THEY ARE FAR SUPERIOR!!!!!!!!!!!:cussing: :cussing: :fu: :fu:
-----------
Ford as in the entire company, or ford as in ford. Because if we include all of ford, we have to include daimler-chrysler, in which I believe DC wins the overall title.

posted by  Godlaus

I lovers my Dodges, but I can still appreciate fine points of other vehicles. I just prefer not to own them.

If I had to I'd take a Dodge over a Ford, but the question is very vague. Does he mean trucks, sedans, sport coupes, etc?

I'll ask again because my last post on this subject was deleted by our administrator. Is there anyone else who sees this post as being another "look at me" for someone who is getting their articles e-published and what does it have to do with the subject at hand?

posted by  vwhobo

Curious, I was wondering the same thing myself last night. I only figured that since I didn't read the whole thing and no one else had said anything, it must have had some relevance that the part I had read clearly did not contain.

Of greater concern to me is why our normally absent administrator would feel it neccessary to delete a post that didn't break or even bend any rules. Maybe it's the second coming of the thought police.

posted by  vwhobo

Unfedfat deleted it? Odd that he would delete such an innocent post but yet leave his other, more important administratorial duties to rot.

posted by  hondaman

I can't prove it, but it appears that way. I wonder how much other stuff disappears and goes unnoticed. :ohcrap:

posted by  vwhobo

Why would Adam care to delete your post? What did you say in it?

And, yes, I agree with what you said about the article put up for show.

posted by  StiMan

I saw UFF on earlier, I too am confused as it was only myself and him on with those priveledges at the time, as far as I remember and I didn't do anything. Honest, lol...maybe he was trying somthing out and accidentally deleted it?.....Seems unlikely though..Maybe he's trying to annoy you hobo? lol jk. How strange though :ohcrap:

Ford still holds the title for putting out the engine with the most horsepower out of Detroit.

Oh my. Would you care to offer some documentation on that, or do you expect everyone to just accept your questionable statement as fact?
