I have a 1997 Saturn SL1. I have a hood scoop installed on it. I also live on Vancouver Island in Canada and it rains a lot. So... what would be better? A CAI or a SRI?
SRI would be...?
silly race car induction :orglaugh:
no i have no clue at all
I spent 20 minutes looking for SRI until it hit me, Short-Ram Intake
I'd say CAI though...
ahh i see
i remember when i didnt know what a cai was, like last month
but if the problem is the rain, as long as water doesnt make it all the way to the actual intake, you should be fine:thumbs:
The short ram would keep water out easier but it heats up at higher engine temperatures and might rob power, so I'd suggest a CAI with bypass valve...even though just rain probably wouldn't be a problem anyhow.
