I would avoid mate, ask for him to fit the new tires and the offer him
about $2000 for it, hard to say with no pictures, maybe a rust
bucket?:oops:

If the body is in decent shape...with no major damage or major rust, I
would say go for it...I recently looked at quite a few of these cars with a
buddy of mine and all the V8 cars are going for around that price...but
with poor paint quality and a lot of minor imperfections. I would ask him
to provide receipts for the rebuilt engine/trans...that way you know for
sure.
