I recently bought a 2000 firebird. It has a 3.8 liter v6 and i was wondering what i can do to get some more power out of it but try to keep the price down below $1000. any ideas?

If I were you, I'd get a good cat-back exhaust system, a K&N air filter(or cold air kit if they make it for the 6), and maybe a set of underdrive pulleys.

spend a little more, and get the supercharger that is on the pontiacs GTP's and what noe

perhaps you did NOT read the part where he said UNDER $1,000. A GTP s/c wouldn't fit on his 'bird even if it was a 3.8L...could it work...yeah, with over 5K invested maybe.

"spend a little more" thats why i put that in there!, and i didnt know exactly how much the supper chargers were.

hmmm...a "supper charger" you say...I guess that helps prepare your dinner quicker? he doesn't want to "spend a little more", he clearly says under a grand.
