question about GM Enterra

Home  \  Domestic Cars  \  question about GM Enterra

have a chance to buy an 1986 GM Enterra GT. Its the 6th last made, and is a number matching car. The only problem is that it needs a paintjob.

Does anyone have experience with the Enterra?

any advice would be great.

Thanks in advance.

ps. i'm told it'll go 0 to 60 in 2.7 seconds

pictures to follow soon

If it's truely an Enterra, then I would go for it. There is not a lot of information on them except that they were a concept car from GM based on the Fiero. There seem to be some kit cars that look like it also so be aware.

It's not a kit. It has the honeycomb'd body panels with the kevlar coating on it. Also comes with a spare engine (not number matching) and the blueprints for it as well.

Well then you should go for it. A paint job is not a big deal. That's just me though. I like the unique stuff.

If you don't buy it........ :hi:

That is going to be a tough one. I have no idea what a prototype car would go for.

I found this on e-bay:
E-bay Enterra (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2487450608&f romMakeTrack=true)
Notice it didn't sell.

Here is another referance: for sale (http://forums.beyond.ca/showthread/t-54828.html)

There really is not a lot out there to set the price. Guess it depends on how much you think the car is worth and how much you are willing to pay for it.
