get freaky on it with some screwdrivers, start jabbin stuff something has to let go.... i dunno im not a stereo guy, well not a cassete guy anyway
I have already stuffed a screwdriver in there nothing has let go this is my
I'm not a cassette guy either I know how my cd player works in my other car
but I probobly couldnt get a cd out of a cd player if a cd got stuck....
Anyone know what I should look for to push on?with a screwdriver?
how about a long nose plier? grab the *Cough* and yank it out!!:):)
softly, careful not to damage the parts...
dont try forcing anything as the stereo WILL break... then you will have to sell the car with a broken stereo, not just one that works with a free tape already installed... take the stereo out of the car, so it is not connected to the electrics, then either, A) gently take it apart with a screwdriver, or B) bash it continually until it gives in...
Let me get this straight. You cant sell the car sucessfully because ther is a tape in there. So noone wnats to buy it with that tape in there. Must be a crapy tape. Why do YOU want it back so bad.
lol... yeah, why do you want it back so bad? must be an andy williams tape...
Better yet...Beach boys
everyone knows andy williams is better than the beach boys, or even better it could be a sing along barney tape....
push the eject button at the same time get a nail file and insert it in the
on the right hand side of the deck
im assuming this is a factory radio
it may take three hands one to push eject one to push the eject mechanism inside the radio behind the tape
and one to help remove the tape
either that or go to a junk yard and get another factory delco radio for 10 bux and be done with it
this man obviously knows the score...
Windman has the right solution, personallt for the time it would take you to play with the deck and mostlikly wont get the tape out, spend that time and the 10bux and just get another deck. I only takes 10mins and a Ph2 screwdriver to remove the deck and insert the new one, Then you can Dismantle the old deck and get your barney sing along out, Or Smash it to bits, and enjoy your cd's in your other car :banghead:
Well once I left the windows down on my Ford Escort and it rained all night, and after that none of the buttons on my tape deck would work so I couldn't eject the tape. So after listening to the same Metallica tape for 3 months(keep in mind the power and volume buttons didn't work so it was always on and you couldn't turn it down) the alternator went out,so during the repair I had disconected the battery and I started the car after I was done and the tape just ejected itself.
