as you all know i own a 1981 monte carlo and i'm in a pinch. i NEED a wiring diagram for my car. i changed steering columns and the column i used will not hook up to my factory wiring. the column is out of a 85-86 cutlass. it all bolts up, the ignition wiring is all the same but the turn signal wires are different. i've been reduced to hard wiring it together but i don't know what goes where. thanks in advance for all the help. i really need to get this finished for my wedding in june.

First off congrats on the wedding! And why not go to the library and pick up a Chiltons or Haynes manual on the Monte Carlo and the Cutlass? It would have all the wiring diagrams as I'm sure you know :wink2:

my local library doesn't have one for the monte, i already checked. i even check the surounding towns and they don't have it either. i guess what i'm looking for is a place online where i can print off what i need and go to town, but that is proving to be quite hard. im kinda hoping hobo will have something i can work with (hint, hint).

This is the best I can do online. Save and/or print the pics because I'm going to take them off my Photobucket in a week or so.

at the shop i worked at, we used to call them mighty craploads and nutlesses... i think it's a colloquialism and it changes by geographical location.... just like ford exploders, ford crapspeditions, mitsubishi monterribles... we just did it to entertain ourselves....
