For full features; Go to 66 disc set up
So, I guy sells me the spindles to convert from drum brakes to discs. They
were off a 70 Impala. I install them and my camber is way off, the top of
tire is way "inward". I am told I need new upper control arms and that the
1970 arms should be longer than my 66. I call the salvage yard and order a
pair, run to the parts house to buy new upper bushings, and while I'm
there, I look at the description and all the parts are for 65-70 Impala.
Does anyone know if the 70 upper arm is longer than the 66, or do cars with
disc brakes have longer arms. I really don't know what to do here, any
help??
Thanks

hollander interchange says the upper arms are the same 1965-1970 for all
chevy passenger vehicles. but just for arguments sake, compare the uppers
from drum to disc just incase hollander missed something.
for those who dont know: hollander is the interchange system most salvage
yards use to tell what parts fit what.
