For full features; Go to 230 cu. in. chev. inline six
I'm planning on putting a 230 cu. in. inline six in my 1949 studebaker
pickup. Does anyone know if ther is any speed equip? for these motors. Are
there any multi carb intakes or split manifolds for these motors? I'm not
sure, but I don't think the old stovebolt stuff will fit. Thanks

If you don't already have the engine, you may want to look at/for a Pontiac
OHC I6. If I remember correctly, the 'hot' ones had a four barrel carb and
good power for a six. They would have the 'speed parts' built in rather
than you having to go find them. Another option would be the 3.8 V6.
There is a guy that comes to our local car show with a 50s era Stude car
and the 3.8. It fits well and looks good. There is a lot of upgrade stuff
for the 3.8.
