For full features; Go to Did Chevy break the mold on Camaros?
I love the 80's & '90's Camaro body styles. Then the late 90's happened,
and the body style lost much of its shapiness. Then they discontinued it
altogether.
Now, I think Chevy is looking to introduce a futuristic version of the
Camaro. I've seen some photos of it, but am not a fan. (No offense to those
who are.) I just feel really lucky I found my Camaro - it's perfect for
me.
I think it's really interesting how many body styles the Camaro has evolved
through. The 60's versions don't look anything like the later versions, and
it seems like different time periods show marked changes. To someone like
me, who doesn't know that much about cars, I probably wouldn't recognize
many of the earlier versions as Camaros, unless they were pointed out to
me.
I thank God that in this day and age, you can buy parts for almost any
vehicle, and keep your favorite car alive. I hope I own my Camaro forever.
