1992 Nissan Stanza temp gauge question
Hi to all. I'm new to this site so I hope this question hasn't been dealt with 1000 times already - but here goes: I recently changed the oil in my 92 Nissan Stanza, I checked the antifreeze as well, and it was fine. The next day, I drove about 10 miles, stopped, got gas and when I started the engine up again, the temp gauge needle was very high and almost to the overheating level.....as I drove away, the needle dropped to the normal operating level. What am I seeing? What would cause this? It didn't happen at all until after the oil change. Any ideas?
