My friend says that skylines aren't street legal in the U.S. because of they're gearing or something. I say that they are street legal. Who's right?
You're friend is full of shiznit, in some states they may not be street legal but in Florida I have seen 2.

very state law dependent on if the car is legal in general. you still have DOT regulations to meet if you want to be actaully legal. this includes all emissions and saftey standards must be meet. ie money.
Ay yup. And the glass needs to be changed out in the car. I believe there's
some crash regulations that need reworking on the car also. As stock, it's
illegal to drive a skyline in the states (unless it's registered as a kit
car or something like that)
The skyline just isn't worth importing and making street-legal.
