Moving to Japan, buying a car there...

Well, like the title says, I'm moving to japan. Yokosuka, (about an hour from Tokyo.) to be exact. I will be living there for about 3 years, and I will need a car. I want a sports car, but I don't want to have to pay alot in gas. Can anyone make any suggestions?

Suzuki Cappucino :hi:
Swap the engine for a 1.3 from a Swift GTI and you'll have a fast car with good gas mileage.

The Cappuccino is a pretty cool looking car, and gets really good mileage, but has a .7 Litre engine...If you swapped it for a 1.3 L it could be pretty fast...What's your budget?

I actually agree with google on this one, try to find even a stock skyline but in Japan they have really small cars and streets with low speed limits, I would find something with less power so you are less tempted to use it :wink2: Why are you moving to Japan, it is going to be a bitch to learn the language there unless you already know it :2cents:

Yeah, you don't need a fast car there...cause the speed limit is like 50km on streets, 80km on highways. The Skyline would probably kill you:laughing:
I would get the Daihatsu Copen 3cylnder. It's similar to the cappucino, but it looks cooler and is faster(in GT4 though) http://autobzor.com/photo/daihatsu_copen_2.jpg
