Something I heard about Civics specifically...
I was wondering if this is true.
Say theres like a 2000 Honda Civic EX Coupe for sale, let's say like 2K
If all I care about is that it runs, would 120k miles for this price be reasonable??
I ask because I heard somewhere that Hondas are well made, and the engines typically last around 250K
I really only need a car to go to work 4 days a week, about 20 or so miles a day, so if this is true, this car should last a while.
But I figured I'd ask some knowledgeable people. :D
EDIT: one more question, as far as mileage to price, what should it be around for civics?? It looks like these have some of the best fuel economy's so I'll probably try to get one.
yes...honda's engines are reliable.
but a 00' Civic with 120k mi goin for $2k??? LOL
its a good buy if there is nothing wrong with it.
But i doubt that the seller would sell it for this cheap if its in perfect condition.
So good luck testing the car...
i know ppl that have old civics with well over 200k on their engines and they still run almost perfectly. The key to that is keeping it well maintained and serviced as your supposed to. As for price...i would check the car out cause there may be damage that they arent telling about.
