has anybody found a set of coil overs that offers improved handling and
appearance while not having to sacrifice total ride quality? i know that
some roughness is to be expected when lowering a vehicle but i don't want
my car to ride like an old pickup truck.
p.s i'm looking for a set for my 96 Integra LS
oh and another question for all you car gurus, when i upgrade my valvesprings should i upgrade the retainers? i've talked to some acura guys that still run the complete stock setup with no problems
my mate liam used pedders on his DC a while back, had a full set up and it was comfy as, the ride quality doesn't just depend entirely on the coil-overs, alot has to do with the mags and tires aswel.
you retainers could be warn or just completely ****ed, so i'd suggest go the lot all new and you should increase performance substantially. fair enough it's more expensive but it should be more effective and live longer too.
there's nothing wrong with my stock ones right now but i'm installing a turbo and was seriously considering upgrading because i know what valve float can **** up but some people have told me the stock acura ones work fine on Forced Induction applications
i've never heard of that brand but i'll check them out, thanks
i can't find a pedder's distributer in the US. any other suggetions?
tien and kyb are the best i know of, Kei-Office is another awsome brand, mainly drift suspension though.
Of course Kei-Office is good. Its owned and operated by the Drift King himself. Hes the guy Initial D was based on. Keiichi Tsuchiya. Ive seen him drift, he's just spectacular. I even bought his "learn how to drift" video; Drift Bible.
yeah, Keiichi is amazing, he's off tap, i've seen him drift, i've got drift
bible, the mans an animal.
he drifts like it's such an easy thing to do, lol, makes me feel shit cause of how good he is... anyway, Kei-Office is probably the best suspension in the world, i had a set of shocks and springs in my old ET Turbo a while back when i was 15 and damn, they were amazing.
EDIT: Spelt some wrong.
thanks for the input
He's also a very good touge racer and a funny guy.
