How much would it cost to put an Integra engine in 97 Civic 5 spd?
Well what kind of Integra engine? GSR, Type R....?
If you're asking for just labor costs it should run you about $600-$800 if
you take it to a Honda specialist place.
If you're asking about the price of the engine...well that ranges from about $800 to $4500 pending what Integra engine you're talking about.
get either a B18C or a K20C, both mint engines.
you can look around online at some sites for prices....it needs to be obd2 also unless you wanna get a conversion harness....and it depends if you want a b18a,b18b,b18c,b18c1,b18c5,b17,.....and places vary alot for install charges....you are probably looking at $3000.00 at the least.....and if it dont come with axles, shift linkage or motor mounts you have to buy that too....so it can be pretty pricey depending on where you buy it from and who does it...and there are always k20's from new rsx/honda integra.....really expensive
Why spend $3k+ on a B18C1 for less than 40 hp more over a $800 B18B?
Money saved in getting the B18B2 means one thing = turbo kit.
or if she wanted too she could just boost the single cam and not spend any money on a swap.....that would be the cheapest
Why has no one mentioned the B16??? IT's DOHC and has VTEC. IT's what I have in my Civic!!!
cuz they are talking about INTEGRA engines......... the RSX is actually the integra in japan.... thats why......
Uh..which ever one fits in a civic
they will all fit
I love you
You love any man or woman who has or has anything to do with an integra lol
I know :wink2:
I know that's what you told me last night :wink2:
Don't think so sweetie :wink2:
if you want to go with a civic engine then i'd suggest a b16b.
although, a k20c is probably the best choice from an integra to a civic.
