KA24DE or SR20DET? That is the Question.
I'm thinking about geting a whole frigging engine swap done... so
tell both sides + and -
Keep the 2.4L KA24DE and add a turbo kit or just go with a 2.0 SR20DET?
go with a R32 type engine?
Both will have a manual tranny.
Also, the KA is rebuilt, all new everything and only 70k on it.
what on earth would you want an RB20DET for? why not an RB25DET? both about
the same price but with HUGE difference's.
also, between the KA24 and the SR20, i'd go SR20 cause they've got stronger cylinder walls and smoother cam shaft rotations.
i am not sure about slappin a turbo onto ur KA...i have seen alot of people who have done this, but i am not sure if it would be as good as the build-in turbo like the SR. But, if u have rebuilt ur KA already, it might be cheaper to do a KA-T project than an SR or RB swap.
