i live in keller texas, and i have been looking to buy a car. This lady has a 94 accord 2 door with 216xxx miles on it, and since i dont have all da money up front, shes willing to let me do payments on it. My question is are the miles way too high for the car? is it worth it to get it? the total price of the car is around 2700. Is it worth it? Thanks.
That is high mileage but if it was properly maintained than it should run for another 50k no problem. I'd offer $2200 just to see if you can pull some chains.
so if its been properly maintained, it should last me a couple years? is there anything i should look for to see if the car has any problems or anything? i kno a litle bit from what my friends havre told me to check, but i just want all the info and advice i can get befor i drop 2700 on a car thats gonna leave me stranded. Thanks for ur time yall!
its not worth the 2700
id give 1500 for that car
MY 90 Accord is worth $1900 with more miles than that car. It's worth at least $2500...
Yeah it should last you 4-5 years at least. Just make sure to get it checked by a HONDA specialist place (not general mechanic).
thanks for all the info, im going to go c it on wed.thurs 2 c if its good or not.anything else ishould look for?
i know this is in effect on newer cars not usre about older. check on the fenders, hood, engine, trunk, and all of the doors. there should be VIN numbers on all of them. when i was shopping for a car i saw a 98 integra that was missing them on the doors but had them everywhere else. the vin is an irreplacable number. so if any of those body panels were changed, you will know because the VIN wont be threre. the VIN in the engine should match the one behind the windshield. otherwise the engine was replaced
i paid 4k for my 96 accord lx with 109k miles on it in great condition.
I love it
I have a 95 Civic EX... I love the car. It has 140 thousand on it and i
spend a little over 3300. SHe is asking a little high. She's a private
seller so it's only worth about 2k bro. I would fight for the aim of 2k as
close as possible. Ask her what kinda of history report can she give on
the car? Why is there so mileage? Rape her with questions and she'll let
down the price. Don't make it look like you are easy to give into make it
look like you have something else lined up. Good luck with it
talon with ok, ill see how low shes willing to go. I also have someone with
a talon that has 82.000 miles, hes asking 4000 obo. wich is better in yalls
opinion in terms of reliability and such, Thanks.
Honda would normally be better but with that high mileage it gets
iffy....between the two (write this down in the books) id choose the
I've lost it..... :screwy:
