i want to get some springs for my galant on ebay and i came ccross a set or adjustable ride height springs but theyre made of aluminum. aluminum didnt strike me as a suitable metal for all that weight. and i always thought it was brittle, not good for a spring. is this a good spring to use?
Since height is adjusted through use of a threaded sleeve that fits over
your stock shock strut, then that is probubly what is aluminum. Not the
spring it's self. This is common, here's a diagram of what it should look
If you post the link it will help to know what were dealing with. Maybe someone has that brand of coilover and can testify. Take care!
