Hey every1 My names Chris an I'm 16 an live in Dublin, GA. The reason I'm
posting is (like the title) I'm looking for some1 to work on my 3000GT. Its
an SL model, black cherry color, slightly modded system, recently had the
valves fixed and was wondering if any1 who lives in GA would like to work
on my car. If any1 one knows a cheap route to fixing up the car with people
I can trust and do the job well please e-mail me. Nothing is wrong with it
at the moment but I really need a cheaper way to go when something does go
wrong with it. Any help is greatly appreciated.
What the heck? No mileage, no year, no info what-so-ever. You don't have a problem yet, but need a worker anyway. Why not just drive it carefully, and then take it a mechanic when something does break down?
What's wrong with an Master ASE certified technician doing the work? Or for that matter, you doing the work?
Look for something along the lines of this. (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1991-1999-Mitsubishi-3000GT-Service-and-Rep air-Manual_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ34218QQitemZ8011893621QQrdZ1)
I'm from GA, Henry County (Stockbridge/McDonough). I know a great Honda/Acura specialist place but havent ever see nany mitsu specific places. Few of my buddies had Mitsus/DSMs (3000GT's, Eclipse/Talons and Galants) but they are all over the place now. I'll see if ican get a hold of one of them and see if they know a decent place. But I'm pretty sure they did all the work themselves.
Well to answer Nissan_Altima's question, its a '92 SL, about 105k miles. To answer Godlaus' question, a master certified technition would be much to expensive around here unless he will do it outside of his normal day job. Im 16...I dont know how to work on the engine of Imports, Ive done valve jobs and restorations on a few Jeeps, a 82 Ford station wagon, and a Dodge van. Havent really worked in the line of Import/tuner cars yet. To thunderbird1100, if you do find any reliable or noteworthy places, please email me, umm not sure if you can find it so its firstname.lastname@example.org. If any1 finds anything please let me know, thanks for the help.
