89 Eclipse

I bought a 89 Eclipse GS today for 150 bucks. All it needs is a head gasket and a passenger side quarter window. So I was wondering if the 4G37 is worth trying to get power out of. Or should I fix the head gasket, drive it for awhile and try to find a turbo motor out of a junk yard?

Obviously not lol....

I know nothing about this car as they're not sold over here.....but I'll give you my input anyways, seeing as how you bought the car for so little cash, it would be worth fixing the Head Gasket (and window if ya want to!) and running it for a while, regardless on the power situation. If you come across a more powerfull engine that will fit, go for it, if not....hey, you've been running a car that didn't cost much lol

Screw that, get a turbod 4G63. Those are great engines and you know they will fit.The aftermarket for them is incredible, and theyre great at making power out of nothing.
