OK so I am selling the Neon and am looking at a Civic as mentioned above.
Car is a sedan 5-speed and has 101k miles. It has a 1.7 Single Cam non-VTEC
engine, and is completely stock. The dealership which also offers a 12
month 12000 mile warranty on the car is asking $7,000 but I got him to drop
to $6,500...Do you think its a good buy?
I did some research and heard the front struts on them have chronic issues, but I think it can be fixed with some KYB Gas struts. Any opinions?
Specifically looking for reliability issues other than the struts that might be assiciated with this model in the 2001 year.
Thanks for any input.
Good buy, those things last forever, and when you get the warrantey have the dealer replace the struts. Other than that I have a friend with a modded one (riced) and its got about 100k miles on it and is perfect.
I really like it. Id post a link here, but would be banned for advertising lol. The shifter is really smooth (some cars its a bit tough going from gear to gear) but here its like butter.
I don't like shifting to feel like butter.. :wink2:
Just makes for smoother drive, plus i wont feel like the shifter is about to snap on me lol
I like a tranny where I can feel it go into gear.
So you like them hard with some resistance. I like mine smooth and willing...kinda gettin sidetracked here if ya know what I mean :hi:
You spankin the monkey typing you sick sonofabitch?
 Na. I was talking about females
OH...my bad lol
What were YOU thinking? :wink2:
I was thinkin A.) you were spankin the monkey typing because of my presence. Or B.) You were talkin bout how you liked to f*ck guys in the ass and liked it to be smooth instead of hard :orglaugh:
Wow..you havent grown past the age of 15 yet
