head to head:06si civic or 2000 integra type r?
just curious, what would be the faster ride bone stock, 06 si or 2000 integra type r if driven by equally talented drivers? has anyone seen or taken part in this particular matchup? if not, give me an educated guess or opinion please.i personally think it would go to the old school, but like i say, just a guess.hit me up with some opinion
Would be really, really close. The Si is 6-speed while the type R is 5 speed. Si also has 2 more hp and 9 more torque. However, the Integra weighs over 200 pounds less so I think it would take it by just a bit.
The Type R would take it= Power:Wieght ratio...
Civic Si ________ Integra Type R
14.6 lbs/hp V.S. 13.5 lbs/hp
Now which car would I rather have? the Type R
Which engine would I rather swap? K20Z3>B18C5
type R....been there....done that :-p
Uhh...Is it just me or is the biggest piece to this question missing: What type of matchup? We skidding them down hills on buttered rooftops or what?
im pretty sure he is talkin 1/4 mile heads up racing
Wish they still made Integras :(
In a straight line or a twisty road-course the Type R would beat the Si.
They do, its called the RSX.
Actually with the new Civic's popularity, the RSX will soon be no more.
Probally right. They are going out of production for next year. The new Civic Si is becoming a big hit right now with its (in my opinion) awesome exterior/interior styling. Performance is definately up there too.
here in england, we dont get the Si but we do get the Type-R
Yeah I know...It's a slightly different version of our 05 Si. I actually like your version better then our 05.
Yes, and I hate you guys for it. I love the styling of that hatchback. :wink2:
werd. Exactly why sportbikes are so quick w/ little output.
