Well I this guy lives couple blocks away from me and I've asked him if he
would sell it to me and he said yeah he would for 20g.
Can anyone tell me if this is worth it please.

He said he would end the auction for me.
Anyone see anything wrong in there?
Isn't that a bit like showing someone a picture of a woman and asking them if you should marry her? If you can't figure this out on your own, sometimes called "making a decision", then the answer is most probably no. Only you can determine if it's the right car for you, if it's represented honestly, etc. If you're not able to competently inspect the vehicle yourself, there are always businesses that can for a small fee. Money well spent in all likelyhood. After all, if it costs you $100 to get it inspected and you buy the car, that's only one half of one percent of the price. If the car is sh*t, that $100 might have saved you thousands. That's a pretty good investment.
From what you are showing me(picture, miles, price) it looks like a good deal
but keep in mind that is only the tip of the iceburg. vwhomo is right that
the car should be inspected if you can not do it yourself before making any
kind of commitment. Whether it is $50, $100,, or even $200, it is worth the
investment if you are really serious about buying the car.
I will say this though...The STis are amazing vehicles and probally are worth a lot more then what they sell for.
well i bought it for 19.500$ and i can go look at it on the 5th, he said
the car was impounded for 90 days and its coming out of impound on the 5th
because his brother was driving it home without license and got pulled over
by the cops. He said he will do some final touches on the car, go back to
the dealer and get tune up on the car and the car will be ready on the
I live close to him so I can look at the car my self and test drive it in order to see if its what he says it is. he ended the auction.
so you bought the car without driving it? or sitting in it? i wouldnt, but it looks like a nice clean sti...in need of tires IMO
I call BULLSH*T! For some strange reason, eBay seems to think the auction ended at $20,900. Someone's story stinks.
Im not completely familiar with ebay, but is it possible that the bid went to $20,900 and when this guy offered him $19,500 he ended the auction because he didnt want to hassle with shipping the car? Then again its a difference of $1,400 so it IS a little bizzare
sorry that was my mistake. He told me between me and him for me to post it at 21,000 so when people look at his feedback since he sells many cars they wont go... OMG Why would he sell it for 19,500$. Now I am looking to get a confirmed from him that he will sell it to me for that money and not to try to screw me over.
Just dont hand over the money until you have a notarized title in hand.
not a smart move
Im not giving him the money untill he comes with me to DMV and we get the title transfered. The only money he has right now is the 500$ that I gave him for deposit.
Oh okay, thats fine
HOLYYYYYY CRAP!!!! This car is unbelivable! I got it yesturday and its so freaking fast! When I test drove it I pulled a muscle in my neck and it still hurts! This car is everything I ever wanted. I allways thaught when people said STI's are fast and crap I expected it to be a bit faster but this... Holy crap its so amazing and kinda scary the way a 4 Cylinder 2.5 Liter can beat most of the cars on the street I see. I did try goin againts a Z5 and I came pretty close, I had good launch but he had better 60+mph gain. It was fun... I dont know what I can say about this car but its totaly AWSOME!!! And a GAS Hog! Around 17-20 MPG
congratulations, i suppose!
Ok I posted some pictures!
Yeah I was bored with the camera but that car is now mine!!!!!!
The only bad thing is that it has 35k miles on it but thats all its still powerfull! I love it!! He said it was tuned in cali by the last owner so its stronger than stock.
