So I came across this one Civic from Norway. I think the Euro tuning scene
is unique, and I like it. What do you guys think of these LED tails? I
think they would look pretty good, almost matching the JDM wing.
Here's the link to them on ebay.

Here are the ones on her now.
Quick/sloppy photochop of how they'd look.
This is what they'd look like lit (that's the Civic from Norway).
kinda see the light given off better in this pic.
Comments? You guys like the sig?
I really dont care for the euro style lights. I'd stick with your stockers.
i really gotta agree with him here....
Nah thoese are not my kind....I'd rather stick with the originals
They look good IMO...just not $130 good.
I love those LED style tail lights, they look really 'sharp' when lit up! Love the sig, too!
Nope keep the stock ones. The sig looks awesome though god job on that:clap:
what he said
but who cares about taillights? really?
you should be concerned with this
lol j/k, its up to you
I like 'em both...but the euro ones more probably. And that sig is the bomb diggity.
Thanks all for your comments. I'll be sticking with the same style of
tailights I have on her now.
Although an all motor setup would be sweet, I've actually made up my mind on what I'm gonna do next after the suspension and brake upgrades. Only thing is I haven't decided if I want to keep it low profile or flaunt it like the following examples.
Anything but discrete
heck yes! led tail lamps are sweet. im actually planning to rig up some
leds to my cressida tail lamps...
saw these on a corolla forum i frequent... gave me the idea
you can buy led lights in bulk from ebay for pretty cheap, so i think im gunna givr it a shot
they don't look half bad but i like the stock ones better.
Those are damn sexy man, and its called personalization do what you want if it makes YOU happy!
We'll see bro, right now some shocks and a brake overhaul would make me happy.
Ahh man get some nice nitrogen shocks and some smooth and sexy rear disc $800 conversion kits :wink2:
Eh, who needs rear discs. Fronts do all the real work anyhow. Screw rear disc conversion and get air ride suspension.
Haha it would make that lil honda stop more of on a dime than it already does, and air ride sounds orgasmic!
LOL, the air ride would be a nightmare with all the camber issues. I'm gonna get some tokico illumina adjustable shocks for now and down the road, some full race coilovers.
i knew someone who put air suspension on a car and it travels so smooth
over rough roads etc, plus they are lighter than normal metal set ups!
p.s, i like your sig, real cool
air ride?!? on a honda?!? yuck! stick with coils. all i picture when i hear airride honda is http://www.physiologics.com/vf/healthnotes/HN77/HN77_english/Food_Guide/Ric e.jpg
Uh..wooden bowl and chopsticks?
Rear discs look nicer through big "rims" though!
rear disc = good... drums suck... found that one out the hard way...
I couldn't agree with you more. That's why I'll be doing a GSR front and rear brake swap in the not so distant future (along with Hawk pads, powerslot rotors, and stainless steel brake lines). :wink2:
I personally like the tails you have now more. Much cleaner look..on ur car they would look tacky
See I'm not so sure. The only real way to tell would be to put them one. However if I did that I'd have to change headlights as well. I'm thinking HID retrofitted OEM headlights. But like I said, all that has to wait for brakes, suspension, and an under-the-hood cosmetic makeover. :wink2:
^my thoughts exactly... HIDs for sure... but after suspension. thats my plans for both the civ and the cress
Rice...right. Air ride is a great technology. Allows you to change from show-car low to the ground street-car high off the ground and stiff race handling to soft speed bump friendly grocery getter suspension settings. As with all things in this hobby, the ability to tune every aspect to suit your specific needs is always a great thing.
*Cough* Coilovers *Cough* :wink2:
is that what those hightadjustable threaded things, and progressive springs are for? lol
Drum brakes 'used' to be more powerfull than discs....they just fade quicker!
Coilovers can only lower a car. It does very little to change the
Progressive springs dont affect ride height.
something like my grand prix would benefit amazingly from an air-ride
elchango's honda probably handles nicely the way it is
Coilovers allow you to choose how low you want your car to be at a moments notice. Fully adjustable shocks allow you to choose how stiff or soft you want the ride quality to be also at a moments notice. You could have your car set up a little high for bumpy nasty pothole ridden streets and then in 20 mins time have it set up super low for the track.
You can do that with airride. Only you can do it with a remote, you dont have to bust out an adjustment tool and get yourself dirty.
Reliability. I have friends with air ride and I've had to go run out in the middle of nowhere to help them jack up their car so they can replace a chewed up hose, popped airbag, or something else that for one reason or another went bad. My personal favorite has to be welding an air tank together on the side of the road just so we could get the car off the ground (couldn't get a jack under the car). I'd rather avoid the headaches (and added weight of the air tank), and be a little less comfortable with coilovers.
^yep! weights also the big factor... misc. hoses that can get messed up, popped bags... you cant pop a spring
Precisely. I can make it home with a blown shock, but a popped bag??? I don't think so.
^ meens for a fun bumpy ride...
