i just purchased a 94 honda accord 4door lx automatic. it has 100800mls on
it and i picked it up for 2600 bucks. well its going to be my work car
drving to and from work. i was wanting to know what kind of maintenance
should be done to it? i know it needs brakes, shes got brand new tires, i
was giong to give her a fresh oil change, new plugs and wires, kn filter,
maybe flush the trans and new filter fluid. im having the windows tinted
as well. what kind of transmission fluid should i use? any other ideas?
pics posted soon
you have the right idea, I dont know any good transmission fluids
but you've pretty much got it covered
Best thing to do is pick up a Hayne's service manual for your car, it will
tell you what kinds of fluids and lubricants to use, as well as how often
you should do routine maintenance and a general guideline on how to do it.
Any other specifications you need to know such as bolt tension and spark
plug gaps will also be in there, it's a worthwhile investment. Given that
the four cylinder Accord changed very little mechanically from 1994 - 1997,
it should be pretty easy to follow.
hey i was wondering what kind of intake and headers i should get? ive read
that the cold air intake kits have a chance of getting water in them,
should i just get a k n filter for the stock breather box?

i was looking at stainless steel obx headers any one used them?
something like these

but the ceramic coated headers are so much cheaper, people mentioned they might rust but id prob try and buy a better brand if i could.
well any opinions or help is appreciated:thumbs:
it's possible to get water into a cold air intake so i would just get a short Ram.
