I hear of how the japanese cars are very reliablity and can live a long
time. Now assuming that the owner takes good care of their car, are the
Japanese cars most last longing compared to other car companies?
Also im interested to know how many asian car companies are there. The ones i know of or at least know are asian are....
Houndai---did i spell that right?
I know some more but not sure if they are actaully from asia.
Does China have a car company?
if you take good care of jap cars, then they would be just like any car
that someone has looked after. looked after as in showroom? looked after as
in washed once a day? or mechanically looked after?
those would prolly have to be the major car producers. the thing is in asia, that all the car companys are connected somehow - half of those on the list use Bendix Brakepads, and the other half make their own brakes, but still use Bendix friction material. :screwy:
i prolly havent answered your question.. meh
Yes they are very reliable...and fairly cheap to fix...I have had no trouble with my 99 Camry...
FORD= Fix Or Repair Daily
CHEVY= Can Have Every Vehicle (stay) Young
I like the first one...dont understand the second
GMC: Gotta Mechanic Coming
Chevy, Like a Rock...and so it never moves... :2cents:
not bad, it doesnt matter, half the "American Cars" we have were made in Japan.
Thanks for the replies.
Anything on china having a car company? Even though i havent heard of China having a car company, i would be surprised if they havent. The nation(or at least the nations govenment) i think is very ambitious. Backing my belief on this would be their very high lvl of competition they give in the olimpics, trying to catch up in the space industry, and constantly upgrading their military.
Chevy, like a rock. Rock hard crap.
not to mention their hand in the spread of terrorism and missle technology(to iran, pakistan, n. korea, need i go on)
I thought that you liked Dodges only....?
China has its own industry of vehical, but don't have famous brand in car
and the price in china in very high(consider the income). A accord will
cost about $25,000. Many manufactures have the joint venture in china, like
VW,BMW,Audi,toyoto,honda,ford,mazda........ It's said that benz will
produce the cars in china.
Who can say something more about the giving in olimpic? It's my first time to hear about that.
japanese cars are more reliable. the thing is if that you look after any
car properly it'l last longer so this is not the case. i'd still prefer a
japanese car because when it comes to tuning you have a lot of options and
most performance part manufactures dedicate their parts to japanese motors.
i dont see nothing wrong with american cars or any other cars in this case
cos end of day i'd b happy 2 drive something with alot of power no mater if
its japanese, american or german!
keep dem cumin guys! this forums ace! best 1 thats why i decided to join aswel :smoke:
Ford and Dodge. I only like Dodge's trucks, and their old muscle cars. That's all for them. My username may make me look like a Dodge fanatic, but it is only for my '67 Coronet. That's the story on that matter.
i also have a stigma against non-Japan cars. Growing up, Toyota was the #1 brand in my family and then Honda. ALthough I think with today's technology and competition, I think all cars are good as long as you take care of it but for me it's still going to be Japan cars, not Asian (sorry hyundai), although im not to particular about nissans anymore
What on earth is 'Mitsuoka'?
Oh, just to add to that list, there's also...
they aint large companies, but they still make cars, although I believe that Daewoo now markets most Ssanyongs...As for Tata, I believe they are Chinese
Kia is part of Hyundai, which is korean. Tata is Indian
Don't forget Ying-Yang and Wonk-A-Gong-Kong.
Appologies.....I know Tata is Indian really, due to what the new 'CityRover' being Tata's Inca? or something like that lol...anyway, I should have known better..oh, and Kia still make cars using that name..so I can list Kia
no apologies necessary. i felt compelled to correct you on Tata, cuz well,
im indian. I said kia and hyundai are both korean and not japanese and thus
dont count on the list of japanese manufacturers.
Im just keepin you on your toes man
LOL...What's wrong with me today..I guess I'm so used to people asking about 'Asian' cars and not specifically 'Japanese' cars that I have those manufacturers drummed into my head :banghead:
I am sorry but was someone insulting china and their interfearance with nuclear weapons? First of all, the only reason that the Chinese back those countries up, because Americans arent smart enough to realize that their economy is dying, but specialists from other countries are telling them that their economy is going to crash to all time low soon. So, that is why the Americans attack IRAQ, there is no nuclear weapons, Bush just wants to get his greedy american hands on the oil. And China is going to be the next world power, so i wouldn't be mouthing them off. Taiwan is the computer capital of the world. Take a look inside your computer, 95% of all the parts are manufactured and designed in Taiwan. Sorry about all the politics. And China does have their own car brand; Hongqi. You probaly havent heard of it, but its the Rolls Royce of China. The chinese chairman rides in one, looks like a toyota with red pieces on the hood. I think they stop producing them now. And all cars should last along time if you treat them right. But import cars offer better fuel efficency and a overall longer problem free life.
Who said anything about Iraq or America? Please read my statement carefully before making a fool of yourself. I am talking about China's hand in the transfer of nuclear technology to N. Korea, Pakistan, Iran, and who knows what other countries, in addition to the sale of missiles and missile technology to N. Korea, Pakistan, and a number of other countries. Please dont tell me china is concerned about failing economies, thats the stupidest comment i have ever heard. They dont give a shit about anyone else. Wake up and face reality.
How about you both just cool it down?..I think all that we were trying to say is that the Chinese make crap cars.....and I have a question aerith, if taiwan make such quality products....how come the break so bloody much? :ohcrap:
<-------agrees with Cliffy
I agree aswell...
Aerith Ur Like A Mile Of The Subject... Where'd U Get That From Man?
dude he's canadian....what do you expect?
oops, i think i missed that part
Nice post there, buddy.
lol...I was gonna say the same thing....it's always nice to have to read more than one word per post :hi: :banghead: ....*cough*spam*cough* lol :joking:
lol, i'm sorry if i read up on current events, hahaha. Anyways, taiwan parts are okay, i mean c'mon 1.5billion people to govern, you cant only have good products, you just notice the bad ones cause so much people make crappy products. Anyways, sorry to get all angered up on such a useless topic. What does me being Canadian have anything to do about this? About the cars again, one long argued topic; Honda Accord vs. Toyota Camry. I wanna know the opinions of others, since i alwayz have similiar argument with friends. I personally prefer the Honda Accord. Both extremely reliable cars, and great family car, but which is better?
Why dont you start your own topic on the two. Put a poll in there for an accurate result!
great advice, ill get on it now :D
haha thats almost an insult man. btw.. which one of u forum holders has a dodge neon? i wanted to ask if that person has had any trouble wid it?
that would be me
and i have had absolutely zero problems with it.
OoO.. hmm.. can i ask what year is it and mileage? and did you get it used or brand new.. im thinkin of getting a 04 neon sxt my self for 10.9g brand new.
btw, does ford use mazda engines? or does mazda work for ford or vise-versa? are they affliated in anyway?
For has been known to use Mazda engines, in the UK anyway, some of the Ford V6 engines are from Mazda's....way off topic there by the way lol
yeh i know, quick question tho. thats all. didnt think a new thread was necessary
First, to Dodge: That post took me a while to think up
Second, about Fords and Mazdas: Ford owns Mazdas and obviously has an influence on thier cars... Ex: the Ford Escape and the Mazda Tribute look almost identical...
ok i c... what about the dodge? are they affliated wid any japanese car brands?
Not that I know of...
Dodge is a part of Chrysler who is a part of DaimlerChrysler... maybe DaimlerChrysler has some affiliations, but I dont think so...
oh yeh thats rite! but mitsu only makes turbo and exhaust things for dodge rite?
they also used to make Minivan engines...i think our old school Dodge Caravan had a Mitsu engine in it...
sj whats ur mileage on ur neon and what year is it? and i wanna know if you got it used or new?
I didnt really know that about Mitsu... of course i gotta clue from the Eagle/ Talon thing...
