Oh, I just thought that because of the direction they were pointing. Makes
sense why the intakes to point that way though. Four throttle bodies seems
a little like overkill lol.

At one point I was ready to call it quits. A few things happened right
after the other and to make a long story short, the car wasn't looking too
hot. My Dad convinced me to respray her and that's how the makeover
started. Pretty soon, new wheels found their way onto Gina as well as an
engine bay makeover. 4 months after the respray, and it's closer to my
dream than it's ever been. Since then I've decided to finish what I
started.
4300K HID kit is in the mail. I'm also looking forward to Christmas for
more goodies.:wink2:

HID in a non HID housing = glare out the ass...trust me, I know

The pics I've seen of other members of another forum running the same HID
kit in their OEM housing looked good. These HID's come with a shield to
produce a cut off much like the ones you get on HID cars (except not as
sharp). We'll see. If there's too much glare I'll look for another set of
Denji's to retrofit.

Believe me, mine had the glare shield as well, and the 01+ housings are
known to be slightly better reflector wise than the EG and EK (those are
known to produce what I call "disco ball" precision). It still glared out
of the ass, and I was running a 6000k kit, your 4300k will be putting out
quite a few more lumens than mine did, so youre gona see better definately,
but youll be a menace to everyone else. Be sure to use a relay harness
too.

Just a little off topic, but Chango, that sig kicks ass. How did you make
it?

LOL, thanks!
I finally bought a digital camera for my birthday last month so I'm still
learning. All you need is a decent camera, a tripod (very important), and
photoshop.
I took 2 pics back to back, one with the hood down, and the other with the
hood up. I then put one on top of the other in photoshop, applied a layer
mask to the top layer. and then with the airbrush tool carefully made the
hod "invisible". (They use the same technique at ball games to make the
"what if they had kids" pictures of famous celebrities.) To bring out the
color some more I duplicated the bottom layer, added a gaussion blur, and
then played around with the blending properties (i used soft light for this
one). I then played a bit with the contrast. I whipped it up in about 15
minutes.
What do you think of my other sig for another forum? This one took me a bit
longer (only because I couldn't get the dimensions right and I had to
relearn reflections).

trust me, for the true look, you pretty much need a projector, but its on
you...pop em in, and see how it is

Thats cool, on a side note, since I sold the fox body and I still want a
dragster, I think im gonna buy a Ef hatch. Built D16Z6+50trim t3/t4 at
around 30psi and am hoping for just mid 11s but Big traps.
We will see I need to find a suitable D series Ef to start with first

No, those letters just refer to the size of the car, where A (or whatever
the first letter is) is the smallest, and then J (I think that's the last
letter) is the largest.

I had a fox to do a SBC swap and make a drag car and someone offered me
some money for the roller, all the parts, the 383 and the junkyard trans,
and It was more than I had in it so I sold it.
I still want a drag car though.
But the EF may fall through cause my dad is giving me an S10, so Ill drive
that everyday probably and then race the maro.
Ill klnow for sure by the end of Jan though.
