Is a Nissan 180SX and good for a first car?
And does it work well with mods?

The Nissan 180SX is a brillant car

SR20DET makes a very quick car. Also brillant for drifiting

Unfortunatly the 240SX isnt very impressive accoriding to my mate.
The 2.0 Turbo is much quicker and so i would pick a 180SX over both the 200SX and the 240sx for obvious reasons!

As for moddifications there brillant cars to mod!! Great for getting parts from star companys like HKS & Blitz but be ready to empty your pockets a bit

Not too sure...prob around 8k - 10k in good condition with low mileage

I dont think their rare so much as not produced in Canada/US so the ones you see are conversions or imported from Japan.

We need to have this thread closed and start a new one :2cents:

On normal car lookups like cars.com and autoshopperonline.com you can't even search for them....

I know, thats why i said its probably because they were never produced/sold here, so any ones you see around are like Skylines, they were imported and maybe noone wants to sell.

I don't blame them...i wouldn't sell them

Haha, ewll why make a new thread, people come here to flame about replying to an old one, only to help by answering a new question

the 180sx has a ca18de/ca18det, 1.8ltr dohc, turbo, intercooled... bad performing engine.

go for a 200sx, those have sr20dets.

180sx's never EVER came show room with an sr20det, only ever came with ca18... thus the name 180, also the name 200sx comes from the sr20. And, 240sx is from the ka24
