I keep on reading things about building your own electric supercharger. When I try to find information on it, it always wants me to either buy a book or a cd. I just want to find out the parts I need and how to do it. I don't think I can afford the book, let alone the parts. That's why I want to know about it. I don't want to spend $17 to find information on something I can't do. If anyone knows about how this building process works for a Honda, let me know.
Anyone know anything about this?
No, but arnt electric superchargers from boats, and are bad.
Forget it and put a turbo on
There's a good article here http://www.autospeed.com/cms/A_0237/article.html?popularArticle on the Twin Turbo Zet electric supercharger.
Electric superchargers are like the latest pet rock, they are waste of money.
Yeah...a waste of money for sure. If you want a turbo get a real one.
Think about it..........how many CFM does your throttle body move? That crappy fan probably moves less air than your engine already moves by itself.
Most likely that fan would hinder airlow and cause a LOSS in performance.
