I read about that in this weeks Auto Express earlier. Looks really wierd to me......too long for even the longest of wheel bases, lol
its got nice wheels though:laughing:
i suppose itll be a tricky thing to drive?
No more so than a standard LWB tranny van I don't suppose......It does look as if it'll bend in the middle though, lol
i wonder if the comfort in the front will be any different??? they were comfy in the normal version! lots of room too, 4 or 6 storage boxes, 6 cup holders!
I've never been in a 'new' version. I remember seeing them before they were released though, as I had to attend an alarm activation at a Ford Truck dealer in Guildford....they certainly look nice inside and out!
nice cd player to it also! very qiuck to, we only have the 100ps version of
the mondeo diesel engine!
very quite too! but id say the new sprinter is better!
I don't like the look of the brand new Sprinter, I prefer last years model! The Transit will still have the TDCi engine so 100bhp is suficient.....obviously the Merc will be quicker though....I'm still skeptical about Merc gear changes though....we had an X-reg manual Vito and it was terrible, I hope they changed it! :ohcrap:
the 100bhp is actually very good!
alot of our drivers were wondering why, on the main road connecting devon
to cornwall, were revving high on 5th, until the mechanic told them that
the merc had 6gears! it is a quick van, much more roomier than ye olde
merc, still has the hard headrest  , the oly bit i dont like is
the size of the windscreen when you're inside, good for view but so open if
you know what i mean?
I assume you're talking about the Merc in all but the first part about the 100bhp?.....The Transit is available with a 6-speeder, too I believe. I know what you mean about th windscreen, but that has its benefits too, as the more 'panaramic' the screen, the better for parking/maneuvering!
i meant the 100bhp in the tranny! its good enough for the size, our ones
are
6speeds i believe??? they are quick too! (not limited yet!)
