i didnt know anything about it, apparently it was little heard anyway, but
M-B shoehorned a 7.3litre V12 (the same one that powered the CLK-GTR Le Mans racer)
clicky here-y (http://www.supercars.net/garages/marcusmv3/127v2.html)
id love one.............
I didn't like that styling from Mercedes Benz, but yeah, I'd hit that lol.
Weight 2050 kg / 4519 lbs
thats as much as a school bus full of kids!
thats pretty average!!! (2 tonnes)
but its got alot of grunt, you need to tow a trailer with a petrol tank on it though!!!
yeh it has around 8.5 hp per Lbs and thats good
You mean pounds per horsepower lol.
you know what i mean
I don't think its that great, I mean 525HP from 7.3 L is nothing to call home about. I'm sure the SL500 from the same era is almost as fast.
I think the 500's from that time had like 380 hp, still good
couldnt possibly be related to the zonda engine?
Mercedes could have done something to that engine to make it more powerfull, on paper a 7.3-litre engine sounds amazing, but there are alot smaller engines with as much power!
yes, same engine, probably updated but the same.
i agree with cliffy, they could have put in an extra 100bhp or something!
