I am new to this board.
I have a 1990 Lincoln mark vii for sale. It currently has some issues, so i
am selling it as a parts car. The car has a dead battery, but i just put a
new starter in. The car runs strong. All thats needed for it to run is a
battery. The air suspension is completely shot, so that will need to be
fixed. I would recommend a conversion kit to change the air suspension to
coil. There are a few companies on the internet that i know about. Google a
search for "lincoln coil conversion". Brake pads and rotors were replaced a
few thousand miles ago as was the abs sensor. Tires have less than 3k miles
on them. Some other issues: When you shift from drive to park, there is a
hissing sound, like air escaping. I am not a mechanic, but someone told me
it was probably a vacuum line. This would explain the surging of the rpms
when the car is shifted from a gear. The rear view mirror is broken. The
alignment should probably be checked because the car drifts at higher
speeds. If interested or if you have any questions, please post. I am
located in central New Jersey. Make me an offer. The car has apprx 114,000
miles on it.
