Help with Street racer
Ok i wanna no wat is the best car to use with street racing......? My favorite car is 99-04 Ford Mustang, but i don't know, i also need a side view diagram of the carr so wen i get a custom paint job. Yes i am 13 but im planing ahead cuz getting ready. I READY FOR SPEED!:2cents:

Street racing is just stupid. You can kill people or yourself/car. Take it to the track.

I won't tell you what paint job to get on your car because certain kinds (tackier colours) add more power than others.

I'd say the Toyota F1 car is the best race car...might want to specify a budget though lol. For a slightly more moderate budget, a Skyline.

for the sake of arguement though, 13, You should seriously reconsider what you want to do here. It doesn't matter how fearless or "Dangerous" you are. It's plain and simple not a good idea to street race. Keep it on the track, whether it be drag, or road racing (racing on a closed course, under supervision, that is legal to do). As for the semi-truck thing, they did so much modification to both the Civic and the truck in order to pull that stun off. For instance, lowering the crap out of the car, and lifting the trailer. You could seriously die, and only your friends would care. Everyone else would hear about it and talk about how stupid you were to try and pull a stunt like that. It's simply not worth the risk...

Please just calm down and listen to yourself, maybe when you get older and mature a little that you will understand that what you are wanting to do is dangerous, underground or not you can still kill yourself by wrapping your car around a tree. I'm sorry about your life so far but you need to just buckle down and realize how ascenine this sounds. Racing on the track is the only way to safely do it, just when you post next time, don't do it out of anger, but maybe think about what I'm telling you :wink2:

So you want to race undercover as a cop?...Why not just go and race at the track like normal people? Just because The Fast And The Furious had an undercover cop street race doesn't mean there are actual cops that race...Because everyone makes mistakes and they could kill someone too. Believe it or not, it's funner to race on the track anyhow...

here's some food for though. track racing is dangerous enough, 72 people died watching the Le Mans a few years ago, many great drivers died on a track, now put that on a street where some people who aren't s+r33+ rAc3rZZ and are just going for a drive somewhere. i'd like to tell you that i nearly had a collision with a stupid fool with a civic who decided to turn on to the main road where i was driving my family to church and he didn't bother to look right, i was lucky not to hit into him...

street racing is bad ill give you some reasons.

1. go to jail
2. wreck your car fairly easy
3. kill yourself
4. get your liscense/car taken away.

track is good.

1. more respectable cars
2. a lot more races to watch.
3. LEGAL
4. safe
5. Ive been to a track and ive been to street races the track is a lot more fun.

You can get them legalized, it just takes a bit or work, time and money. They sell a lot of them in British Columbia (not sure how many are made to be street legal).

I think it's based more on age though, something like 15 years or older, meaning that they'd now have to be 1991 or older to make it..

I know a Skyline is expensive unless it were an older one...I've seen some early 1990's go for $10-ish thousand...But they are legal, there was one website that does them in California, and to bring in a 2004 Skyline, it was like $90,000...Can't find the website now though...

BTW I added that part in right at the end as a half-thought out after-thought lol.

I don't see whats so special about Skylines... Skylines in Japan are like Mustangs over here. I wouldn't spend that much money on importing a car like that :2cents: But that's my opinion

But Skylines over HERE are not like Mustangs over here. And Mustangs over THERE are not like Mustangs over HERE. As soon as you change countries, to a place they weren't imported, they become rare and unique, and THAT'S the reason it's worth importing them.

BTW, while there are Skylines other than the GT-R version, if you can't see what's special about a factory built high performance AWD turbo performance coupe built to homologate the type for international road racing, then you aren't avery serious enthusiast. You should be able to see what's special in that, just like in the, say, Ford RS200 and Escort Cosworth, the Lancia Delta Integrale, or the Peugeot 205 turbo 16. EVEN if people talk it up, an intelligent enthusiast can set that aside and look at it for what it is, and what it is is an important performance model from a mainsstream manufacturer.

Chances are this is a stupid question, but why is it that we don't have Skylines over here? It seems like our Country as a whole has more performance vehicles than others, yet we don't have the Skyline? Yes we have the Nissand 350Z, but why not a Skyline?
