I'm a big Subaru fan but I like the small Peugeot 206, BTW they have a new 307 coming this season. So now they have 2 models running in WRC

I am begining my racing career in the SCCA ProRally series at the Rim of the World Rally in So Cal. I am racing a 99 Impreza--so I always root for Subaru. However the new Evo looks really good and I think that Mitsu might have a better driver lineup this season. Peugoet and Citroen also have very strong driver lineups this year. I watch that stuff too much. If you are interested in getting into rallying, either racing spectating live or volunteering, let me know!

P.S. If you volunteer you get a ton of free stuff AND get to check out all the cars up close and personal. :thumbs:

Love Rally like no other sport grew up in Kenya so i Grew up with our round of the WRC which was the Safari Rally unfortunately it got pulled from the calendar but their is talk it may be reinstated. the best website for wrc news is http:?www.wrc.com.

Yeah WRC is da shit, my favorite team is Mitsubishi Team. Even though Citroen,Subaru,and Ford rule ass in WRC I'm still loyal to Gilles Pinizzi.Go MITSU :clap: I've seen it driving on SPEED TV a few times.., *arghem* *points down* :thumbs:

Man the Mitsubishi team sucks major ass. We don't have any prized drivers. A bunch of rookies with no credentials under their belt.. I wish Solberg would convert to the side with the superior car..Team Mitsu of course..

Ah yes, i have heard a lot about him. Im familiar with all the teams but i have never watched a rally event. Sounds interesting from the way everyone is so enthusiastic.

Yeah man its extremly interesting. Probably even more to be there and see a STi come speeding at you at 60MPH and swerve ,splashing a thick tastey dust cloud in your mouth ,just barley missing you a camera man and 100's of other spectaters by mere inches. I think its more of a rush to stand there and watch

As to finding it on cable. It is on Speed channel. I used to watch it, but then they took speed channel off my plan. IT STINKS!

Group B rally cars! thoose where the days! 205 T16 and the Lancia S4. Group B was banned :banghead: because of the demand of driving skills required a slight slip up meant a severe consequence and it did in 1986.

Group B came to an end on May 4, 1986 Lancia's lead driver, Henri Toivonen, was dominating the 1986 championship and the Tour de Corse rally when his S4 left the road during a twisty tarmac stage. The car went off the edge of the road, hitting trees and rocks while sliding down a hillside. Toivonen and his navigator, Sergio Cresto, were killed. this ended group B.
