i have a 98 ford mustang v6 5 speed and i was wondering is there anyway
that i can hollow my cats.. i wasnt sure how to because there are 4 of them

Why hollow them? it won't help anything. Do you need to have regular
emissions checks where you are? If you do, you'll end upo being screwed for
your next test. If you don't, then might as well replace them with straight
pipes, since you have to take them off to gut them.

wont hollowing them make it sound a little better when i put duals on

Are you talking about complete dual exhaust, or just cat-back duals (which
is basically what it had stock)? Mustangs have pretty decent exhaust sounds
even stock and a good aftermarket cat-back will sound just fine.
