More questions:
***Fast straight line or curves
***Fast in stock form or after modifications (this may be a way to save
money in the beginning, fix it up as you go)
***will it be a daily driver?
cheap as in the 3 to 4 grand range.
fast as in to wipe the lil wanna be ricers off the road
Shit just get a cheap Pontiac or Buick with a 3800
The supercharged 3800  are pretty quick. Another option would be to go all the way up to V-8 power Camaro, Mustang, T/A, etc.....
Not a fan of eather. im thinkin a integra...or prelude with a k20 swap
true but you got to remember. i live in sioux falls....we aint got nothing interesting....(for cars that are for sale)
Go for a CRX or hatchback Civic and swap in a B18a. Go for a B16 tranny if you take that route they hold up well.
There are interesting cars everywhere. You may not be looking hard enough.

Good luck finding an integra in the 3-4 thousand dollar range in SD. These
are quick cars that look good and need no work.
Get a Beretta GTZ :hi:

I found one. a guys selling one for 2,300 and its not in bad shape i guess.
Anyway...when i do find a car. were do i go for parts. internet or stores
Internet.
Internet's usually cheaper, but it's nice to be able to see the parts in the flesh as it were, due to the Internet having deceiving tendencies!
It depends how much money you are willing to spend..and how fast you want
the car. Do you want a 4,6 or 8 cylinder?
Personally i have a 89 CRX Si with a ZC DOHC conversion with a few mods
such as: intake, headers, exhaust. The dyno test reported my car at about
160 horsepower....i am completely satisfied with it and consider it a fast,
small, gas efficient and reliable car.
I guess a 90-94 Civic hatchback with a b18 swap also might make sense?
You can find cheap high mileage Honda's and just swap the engine and tranny with the extra money you have.
