While aimlessly searching on google for new parts for the eclipse (BTW I
just got the money for a new engine 2.0L DOHC turbo) I came across a
eclipse with a Targa Top? Does anyone have any ideas on this? I would love
to do this down the road after i get everything else done on it, but what
would be the cons of this? I've read that it costs more then what I bought
the car for, but then again so did the engine. So any input?

The main con I can think of (other than costs to have it done correctly)
would be rigidity. Of course if you really had it done correctly they would
take care of this and even make it better.
We calls a good bit asking for similar mods. Usually they decide against it
once they learn the true cost. Or we refuse to do the job because they want
it half-a$$ed.
