Diesil and backbox???

Hi, im about to buy an Audi 80, i really want the 2.0lt petty but i wont afford the fuel, so ill probably get the 1.9TDI! I still want to mod it but i dont know what a diesil will sound like with an modded airfilter and backbox. Can anyone comment??? Cheers, Will
