Still around, but I never did much more than lurk anyway.

EDIT: Holy shit it's ten years in May that I joined this board. Where did all that time go?

Wow, I am surprised to see so many people respond. Glad to see some of the regulars still are on here, its kind of awesome. Apparently this 10 years ago this month I joined the forum, kind of hard to believe.

So what's new with everyone? For me, my wife and I celebrated the birth of our first child on Dec 24th of this past year. Vivian is amazing and being a Dad is pretty sweet. It remains to be seen however whether the GTO will fit a baby seat... :ohcrap:

Last time I ran Amsoil ZDDP break-in oil. I tried to follow the instructions on the bottle that said minimum of 500 miles. In retrospect that way probably waaaaaaay too long for a first oil change on a fresh motor. The failure was weird too because rod bearing #1 basically fell apart and the rest of the rods and mains were basically perfect. It runs again though.

The failure was weird too because rod bearing #1 basically fell apart and the rest of the rods and mains were basically perfect. It runs great now though. Just needs start-up tuning. On a 60* day, AFR are nice. On a 40* morning, AFR are wayyyy rich even at idle. There's some temp compensation I have to adjust in the ECU.

Definitely a dead forum, much like many formerly active forums around the net.

I think Forums have a tough job these days, apart from specialist ones that one-time posters come to for help...I blame social media!

It feels so weird still being able to post here.

I've got a e36 3 series now and a cafe racer type bike. I'm happy about those machines.

Can't believe I was posting here flat out when I was 16. Time flies haha

Back for my semi-annual car-forums check! Not much new here. Bought a Honda Nighthawk 250, and thought I'd show the progress I've made on my Metropolitan..

Here it is just after I bought it ~6 years ago:
