Post your job(s), wage, hours.-
Well just got off a 13 hour shift today. Had 10 hours yesterday lol I can't wait to get my paycheck. I'm a busboy at a restaurant right now, (dishwashing, bussing tables, putting evertyuhing away, emptying trash etc) I am a senior in high school, go to school full time (no I don't get out early) and I believe I am working around full-time hours lol. And this comming week I work 5 days as well and will prolly get mroe hours because I am off 2 days fomr school, Lucky me :-D.
I work for a company called RTO pictures. We do a lot of sports pictures and lots of of shadowboxes for famous rappers and scarface. I would post the link to our site, but I dont wanna get busted for advertising so PM or IM if you would like to see our work.
I'm pretty sure this thread has been started before but oh well,
I'm an Inventory Specialist, which basically means that I go to stores with some people, and count all of their products that are for sale...I get paid like 13/h because my parents own the business, but on an average week I get 5 hours, and usually I have to get up at 4:30a.m., and other times I'm home at 2:00a.m. I'm looking for a better job now...so if anybody's hiring :hi:
8-6 mon-saturday 20 an hour, day in day out cant wait for powder days, phuck work i just wanna ride, apprentice automotive technician
Mechanics Apprentice, make bout 11 or 12 an hour, worked like 25 to 30 hours this week
I work at best buy selling appliances...currently undergoing a promotion so currently making about 9 but soon to be making around 12 or so
I don't believe you. Sorry, but I'm going to need some proof :ohcrap: .
I've gone through a variety jobs, but ironically, I'm at the lowest paying one yet. I work at Target's Food court right now, making 9.60/hour. When I turn 18, it's gonna be a mechanic apprentice for me, with an ASE certification in my pocket.
I currently work around 15 hours a week. Training owns my soul.
Surely even Ohio has minor work laws?
Jesus Christ! You must live in an insanely high cost of living are to be making 20/hour as an apprentice....
Staples Canada Business Customer Service Representative - 9.60 an hour, full time, raise in a month to about 10.20.
well i'm pretty young.. but i have a small job. babysitting. i usually get paid between 7 to 15 bucks an hour. also i'm getting a job at an auto shop this summer (my parents' good friend owns the shop) so i should learn some fun stuff and get some good cash.
i work as an 3rd year apprenctice electrician and i make 22.97p/h , i also mow 7 lawns on the weekend and make 215 bucks tax free woo hoo!!
[QUOTE=Godlaus]I don't believe you. Sorry, but I'm going to need some proof
Personally, I'm only 16 and make a small amount of salary. $8/hour, 40 hours a week during the summer, only about 10 hours a week now. I work in a research institute however, so I'm hoping it'd be beneficial on a college transcript too.
Im an intern at General Electric. Work 40 hours @ $14/hour + OT @$21-28/hour. The pay goes up as i take more classes in school.
I gots a whoppin job at Albertson's lol. But only because I devote myself to college. 25-30 hours a week and well, I make...well less per hour than any of you guys :( But at least I can pay for my Car :)
I'm a Security Guard aka Rent-A-Cop lol...work 12hr shifts and get paid £18,000PA
I've always worked independently. Never for a business. I built computer
through most of H/S and got my name around just by word of mouth. Made
quite some money off of that. I also helped out my friend's mother a lot
with landscaping golf tourney's ($20/hr). I worked as an installer on the
side for Innovate Sounds (local place) and did installs @ $25/hr labor
(cheap compared to most other places).
Now a full time student at LSU, so I haven't really worked that much since I started college. Just do some audio work here and there.
I live in Maryland now... and yes they do but the restaurant I work at does not really care about that... no joke, if I wanted to be working 6 days a week they'd let me. I get my paycheck today, I get paid every week. If I get my laptop back today i will take a pic of the paystub
Cashier at Wal-Mart.. a whopping $9 an hour.. with working 5 hour shifts on weekdays and 8 hour shifts on weekends.
I was 14 years old working at McDonalds in Baltimore.... I had 10-7 or 11-8 was my normal shifts at 5.25 an hour.. Maryland doesnt give a **** whether you're a minor or not
I'm a Medical Assistant for Physicians at a disability claims company. Work 8-5 M-F $28500/yr + bonuses. Getting another raise soon too.
i work at a salvage yard near my home. 9.75hr and i make 1.5% commision that i get at the end of the month. kinda sucks but it pays the bills. anyone need parts?
What do you have in the yard?
I quit my job as a apprentice for a construction company a couple weeks ago, I was making $10hr there. I start my new job at the post office in a feww days. A friend got me in as a casual clerk, I get paid and hour less but at least i'm in the system now. As soon as I take the test and become a ptf i'll be getting 17.50 an hour and kick ass benifets.
Not everything's that easy, I know a guy who is 40 and working at the post office but he said he doesn't know exactly how they are advertising that but almost none really starts out at that, I could be wrong but the guy I know has been working there for most of his life and knows his stuff- remember there is a catch to everything.
"ASE certification in your pocket" you need two years experience for those to actually kick in, so you might have passed the test but you're not considered certified
I'm not working now, but over the summer i worked at Hoffman Car Wash, in my town. it paid $7 an hour plus tips, which would equal out to roughly $9 an hour. it wasn't too bad a job...i dried cars at first, then moved on to drive-out (driving the cars from the end of the track to the lanes). all because I could drive stick and had my license.
Lets just say it pays off to know the owner personally :wink2:
I got a .60 cent raise after my first week. I got the paystubs here, but unfortunately my webcam/camera is only installed on my laptop which is being repaired(speakers), and I don't have the disc to install it on my desktop computer. You will have you proof as soon as I get my laptop back.
hey steve, just how personal is the relationship?
Wouldn't you like to know :hi:
I think I might be a candidate for person with the shittiest job. I scoop dog crap at a local kennel for $8.75/hr. Every once in a while I get to walk dogs, which pays $1.25/dog. 10 dogs per hour=$12.50. Only a few hours during the school year, pretty much full time in the summer.
I am a Retention rep at AOL, making 10/hour plus AMAZING bonuses, I usually pull down around 2500/mo getting paid to sit on my ass and talk to stupid people on the phones in a comfortable chair and surf the internet all day. I like my job, plus Im good at it. Gotta love it.
Will AOL bill you for months you didnt use AOL?
AOL is a membership based service, meaning, you pay to be a member for the
month, and wether or not you use it is up to you. Kinda like a gym.
So yes we will.
But, if you are reffering to the hurricance katrina situation and your inability to use it, Then simply call in to the cancellation department of AOL, let them know you were in katrina and cant use the service and we will help you out w/ your bill for a while.
Yeah they gave me the month of September a credit, but I was also out for almost all of October as well.
When is your billing date?
Unless I pass the test and I get a student ASE certification. I then have
to work in the field somewhere in the next two years, and get those 2 years
W2 forms to permanate my certification. I shoulda been more clear. I'll
have a student ASE certification in Engine Repair in my pocket.
Nobody's doubting you bro, relax.
Don't those hours kill you during school? The do to me.....But then again, training owns my soul.
K, just making sure cause I do take great offense when someone calls me a liar, be it online or not. And YES those hours did kill me lol 13 hours the one day is what did me in. Had 2 blood blisters but I'm ok today so back to work tomorrow, the weeks are usualyl easy-going but the weekends which I usually work, 4 days in a row are harsh lol. And I see what your saying about training, and eventhough I am just a busboy I am still learning alot from this job just about jobs in general.
The only person calling anyone a liar, is me calling 99integra out. That's
And sorry 99, but don't you think you should get a job the way everyone else does?
couldn't you just say man you must rock at your job and your boss really must appreciate you, no you gotta go be a jerk and find other reasons i get payed well....lol yeah cost of living is insane, cheapest house you could buy in this town would be a 250,000 condo, 2 bedroom unit maybe...the houses are up in the half mil-4 mil suks balls
You gotta factor in the exchange rate....
we have everything but GM. we got bought out by a bigger yard in the area and they specialized in GM, so now we do evrything but GM. if anyone here needs a part, let me know. we do ship and i can get damn near anything.
Can you get an AA Track pipe? lol
Thats gross bro :ohcrap:
Any early 80's Porsche 944 parts? (transaxle, front/rear suspension,
brakes, etc) lol. May start collecting parts soon for me 'Summer Project' i
have in mind  .
On topic, as of right now i do not have a job but am going out sometime this week (maybe tomorrow) looking for one.
