Bird Flu

Has anyone heard of the Bird Flu? If so, what is it? .. I think I'm coming down with just the regular Flu, but there's been talk of a lot of people in this town having the bird flu.

Have you watched the news or read a newspaper in the last three months? Time to get out from under that rock. :banghead:

Seeing as how the past couple of months I havent had any cable. The answer is no.

Newsflash. Newspapers are printed on... wait for it... PAPER. You can get them delivered to your house by subscription, buy them out of a box or in almost any convenience or grocery store, cable not required. On top of that there are things called online news sources. I know your computer works as you always have plenty of time to type your blather.

Here, I'll make it real easy. I'll do everything except read it for you.

Mr. BMW guy isn't going to do every single thing for ya u know?

For a long time. We had absolutly no channels, not even local and no newspapers either seeing as how they couldnt be delivered. The storm took out everything. But nevermind. Forget I even mentioned it.

I asked a simple question that required a simple answer. There was no need to be a smartass about it.

What about the internet you've been on every day? It must suck being a victim all the time. Think, type, submit.

There was a good article about it in one of the recent National Geographics.

That'll never work. National Geographic has too many words with more than one syllable. But it is on cable.

It's nothing serious really...it'll probably be under control soon enough...or so they say. I think this is just the beginnning, soon it will be like "The Birds" with Al Pacino, and they'll all try to kill us :ohcrap:

Dammit Hobo, you got that one in before I could. Anyhow, I wrote a report about that 2 YEARS AGO when it was a major topic for one of my Bio classes, I'll see if I can find it and send it to you. I love how when people all of sudden wake up, actually the US and Canada have had cases of Bird Flu since '93, just that stuff like T. Owens takes priority in everyday life :screwy:
