who wants to go faster?

Home  \  Off Topic  \  who wants to go faster?

ok, check out this new "car"

Acabion GTBO

(in the 350hp model)

top speed 342mph (really)

0-280mph takes only 40 seconds

180-280mph takes 10 seconds

available at up to 700hp, but they havent been tested yet...

1.3liter hayabusa engine

pretty nuts:ticking:

id add pics but they are too big, to go seriouswheels.com to see

Wait...so a 1.3L engine makes 350hp, and is capable of up to 700?!...

Is the engine used on a motorcycle, because 340mph from 350hp is impossible...

How about a bit more of an explanation lol...

1.3 liter hayabus engine....I think its a motorcycle im about 95% sure. Thats fast, but the numbers seem a little off to me. I'd say its like 5 seconds at most for 0-60 that means from 60-180 that takes 25 seconds...why does it lack power in this area?

Yeah, I saw Hayabusa, but he also said car, so I was wondering lol...

Hmm, A 3d concept of a street version of a Bonneville dry lakes "motorcycle." And even then, the speed is not even likely. 370 mph? BS.

the fastest land speed record motorcycle record is 332.103, with a one way top speed momentarily of 370. And this is it:

This had a 400+cubic inch, 900 hp, small block Chevy.

I thought that sounded far-fetched.

although that would be cool it would never happen and it looks horrible:2cents:

yeah i made this thread right before i went to sleep last night,

http://www.acabion.com/

go to products and probably the gtbo 70 model

i just got it from here. says maximum speed uncurbed is 600km/h

if that site isint a load of BS altogether then thats pretty damn fast:clap:

I'm pretty sure environmental factors would not allow that to reach those kinds of speeds.

I never thought about it a whole lot
but its on topgear too so im starting to believe:hi:

i'm pretty sure after people crashed into stuff at 300mph it would get shut down pretty quickly...

well crashing into something goin 100mph is gonna suck too,
but i know what you mean,
not like were gonna see these on the streets anytime soon

Unless I was to build one...doesn't look too complicated, just a 1.3L high revving engine and a carbon fibre body, and some wheels
