I have a few 1:18's myself...I wanna start collecting smaller scale models though, as some of the detailing is amazing. And you can fit more onto a shelf lol

I've been spending money on little cars (and some not so little) for well over 40 years. I do not discriminate between die-cast, plastic, pewter, tin, etc. I am also not concerned with scale or value. If I see something I like, I buy it no matter how cheesy it may be. How many people do you know with three kids training potties, all of them old Beetles in different colors?

That being said I do have some extremely valuable cars, but because I collect them for my own pleasure only they're not for sale at any price. For reasons that may be obvious, most of my stuff (I don't consider it a collection) is Air Cooled VW's, probably 90%. At any rate here are a few of my latest acquisitions, and yes I suck as a photographer.

The first two I stumbled across tonight while wandering around Wal-Mart after supper. Yes they are Dubs, but more importantly they're V-Dubs.

The next two are some that my beautiful wife scored for me a few weeks ago. They're cheap, they're plastic, but they have decent detail and I like 'em.
