Legal? I've got this ( er=online&n=o_ss_google_ca_clk01&SV=se046h) one and it works pretty well...There's some better ones, but they're kind of illegal lol.

hobo...unless he stole it from somebody

A collegue of mine has Norton anti-virus on a disc and said he'd give me it, not quite sure how it works, but he said he gets it free, but shouldn't, lol

I wouldn't recommend anything but the best, in this case, Norton Antivirus 2005 although 2006 is out. If you look hard enough, I'm sure you'll be able to find it at a friendly five finger discounted price:laughing: .

The Norton Anti-virus my collegue mentioned was a 2002 edition, but he said it updates automatically, though not legittimately, or course, lol....a bug?

I use Norton (not free), Spybot (free), and Malware Sweeper (free). Often I run the free programs after Norton, and they pick up stuff Norton missed, but they aren't that good at getting rid of crap. I usually have to do that

I have AVG free and one supplied by my broadband suplier (Telewest) which is quite good

Or you could ask me nicelty and I might be able to give you a free version of Norton Corp. Ed.:wink2:
