£80 to ride shotgun? Screw that.
£80 to ride in3 cars, for two laps, on britains fastest track?
id prefer nurburgring, its cheaper, but i wont have the time to drive there!
That's pretty sweet...There's a Bridgestone course similar to that near
where I live, but it's like $600 for a half day...although we get to drive
85 pounds is like $160...it sounds like fun, but if I were you, I'd wait a while and try to go to the 'ring. :2cents:
this is the course layout!
You only live once, you'll likely never own most of those cars, and in the end you can't take $ with you. I'd do it.
I agree. Although there are packages that let you do the driving sometimes, although that might be a bit more expensive. Jamie, you don't have a driving license do you?
provisional, but i dont think they allow that!!!
I don't know, personally I'd rather drive the cars myself. But if it's something you really want to do, and forking over £80 won't hurt your pocket, then by all means let us know how it goes.
thats when it happens!!!
hopefully i'll have a camera too!
ive got one now, but its a video camera, just wondering, can you upload video film onto a dvd or obto a pc???
I'm assuming it's digital? In which case, yes, use any hosting service like Photobucket. As far as I know it'll work the same as uploading still pics...just a bit longer because of their size!!
no, as i stated, a video camera, but i should have said camcorder, its only 10 years old! (as old as my car)
Oh, in that case I don't know. You can get digital camcorders now though, ya know!
oh really, since when?
i only got it because it was cheap, and i was going to the WRC wales at that time!
It's a fairly new thing I believe, although they've been available for atleast a year now. They are pricy too, £245 was the cheapest I've seen doing a quick search! I'd imagine they'd double up as a standard camera, too though!
i hope you know i wasnt being serious? and that i do know about digital technology!!!
No, I thought you were being serious. You see, by using no smillies, sarcasm doesn't translate well through a keyboard. Also, where most people know about digital technology, digital video recording is still a fairly new innovation....
theres one in there now!
hopefully i can get one through my "contacts" for half the price!
(dont worry, its not off the back of the truck sort of thing) itll be through the customers on the delivery rounds, my phone for example,
i have a motorola rokr, £200 retail price, i got it for £50, last xmas, it was on a alf price sale, and i get £50 off anything in Carphone warehouse:wink2:
lol..back of a lorry (van)...
whoops wrong thread
keep in mind that in within a year, there's already something new and
"better". at home i have a video camera with a digital output for tv/pc's.
i honestly havent tried it yet, but it's about 5 years old or so. my aunt
gave it to me when her husband died about a year and a half ago.
ill take a picture later today when my friend gives me back the sony digi-cam fully charged (wasted all the charge taking a whole bunch of pics of the car).
anyhow, as for the subject, i'd do it. honestly, wat do u have to lose?
You mean besides the £80?
he's not LOSING £80.... hes TRADING them for a nice ride around a course on a nice car..... see? HUGE difference! (specially when using CAPS LOCK, eh?) :wink2:
LOL, I'd still rather be the one doing the driving. Which is why if I were
looking for an unforgettable day, and had the money, I'd do this one...
This one's not bad either...
