Hinder sucks ass. Only someone with a simple mind would listen to a simple band like them. I bet you like Theory of a Deadman too. Ugh.

Seen them live? The experience....is...intense. Espeically with their newer stuff like "I Might Be Wrong".

Really? surely in this day and age they wouldn't get away with that? I have a simple method to overcome this....don't use the video section  , afteral, this is about music, lol.

posted by  Cliffy

Unfortunately...no. I've watched many of their live acts on youtube and they're amazing (especially the stuff from Kid A and like you said, Amnesiac). I'm hoping that with their new album coming out next year, they'll come to Edmonton or Calgary during the tour. I won't think twice about going if they do come.

I'm making a "Beer Playlist" right now, as I've started brewing my own and need tunes to brew to, also a few Canadian Beer Fest trips are in the planning. I know some songs are more about beer than others, but if I really liked and they were somewhat relevant I threw them in. Here's my list so far, feel free to make some suggestions.

The Dirty Glass-Dropkick Murphys
Kiss Me, I'm Shitfaced-Dropkick Murphys
Drunken Lullabies-Flogging Molly
Beer Goggle-Lagwagon
Beer- Reel Big Fish
40 oz to Freedom-Sublime
OLE!-Bouncing Souls
Buck-O-Nine-Irish Drinking Song
Special Brew-Bad Manners
Streams of Whiskey-The Pogues
Beer Bong Song-NOFX
Liquor Store-Less Than Jake
Bender-Big D and the Kids Table
Beer,Beer,Beer-(says it's by the Pogues, but I don't think so)
F*ck You, I'm Drunk-Unknown
Beer!-Psychstick

I just realized how much ska is in there.

Yeah, its funny because I actually wasn't a huge fan of their newer style, I was into The Bends, OK Computer, and Pablo Honey. I even had Amnesiac because someone had given it to me as a present, but had barely listened to it. Then after I saw them live I listened to Amnesiac non stop.

It was a good night too, they played at UBC, then afterwards we got completely hammered and stayed in one of my friend's dorms...

posted by  Mathew

I'm not a fan of Pablo Honey at all. But everything after The Bends is amazing imo. I can't imagine myself listening to Hail to the Thief, Amnesiac or Kid A (which I absolutely love now) around 2 years back though...wouldn't happen because of my hollow Metallica stage.
