All I have to say is look at the orange peel on the GT500 (#11). I can do better with a six pack of beer in my belly and a rattle can on a windy day outside.

Nice pics otherwise.

The dirty keyhole or how the hole is crooked? lol. The Camaro was definately my FAVORITE car there. I really hope they make it just like that, becuase it just looks so mean, from any angle you look at it. Thanks

I don't personally care for the new Camaro. I got a real short ride in one during last year's Power Tour. I'm not saying it's a bad car, it just doesn't suit my taste.

True. You cant appeal to everyone. My friend Loves the new EOS, meantime I think it was designed in part by Richard Simmons. Do you know what the production information is for the Camaro?

posted by  newyorker

Production information as far as what? Production starts late '08 as an '09 model. Bigger than a Mustang, smaller than a Challenger, blah blah. I don't have any insider info if that's what you're looking for.

Nah I was just looking to see if it is just a concept, or will be made into a production model. The lady was on the stand yapping, but I was taking pictures, so I didnt hear anything she was saying.

Oh, it IS going into production, with a convertible model to follow probably a year later. GM can't let Ford sell all those Mustangs unchallenged.

Good. Camaro>Mustang. If YOU were to pick one of the two, which one would you take.

Neither. If I HAD to have a Mustang or Camaro, I would rather spend the time and money to build a 30ish year old car the way I like instead of buying a belly button car designed by commitee. That's just how I am.

Surprising fact of the day. I'm seriously considering purchasing a Corvette. No, not a new one. Instead the redheaded stepchild of Corvettes, an early LT1 C4. Just because nobody else wants them and also because it seems like the thing to do. Who'd a thunk it?

I suppose that means leaving enough in my budget for white patent leather shoes and belt plus a Mr T starter kit. :wink2:

Everyone has their own preference. BTW What is orange peel?

That vette reminded me more of what Face drove around in the A-Team. But I bet the Mr. T look would be pretty hot too. I plan on going to the Chicago auto show, I will take pics but as a curtosy(sp?) to us, try posting your pics as thumbnails (if you are going to put more than one or two up) so they dont require so much loading time

Good pics otherwise

Nice pics, but did you take any of a whole car? lol

The Ford Reflex looks like balls though.

when he mentioned the orange peel on the gt500 he was talking about a not so great paintjob

what ever happened to posting pics of COMPLETE cars and not just a headlight or a tail pipe??

They must have wanted it to look like that. Ford won't sent off a GT500 to an auto show without it being perfect.

They musta thought that it looks better with the orange peel. Personally, so do I when it comes to lighter colors on some cars.
